Vacancy

Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.

As a Junior Demand Generation Specialist at EuroSort, you will be trained to find and develop leads (convincing phase) to prospects (potential customers with serious interest). You will learn about the material handling market by developing your knowledge and skills together with the Marketing and Sales team and other operational departments. You will focus on German-speaking countries, such as Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Therefore, knowledge of the German language is important.

Together with the Marketing and Sales team, you will determine which target groups and regions to focus on in your outreach. You will approach these target groups through various channels, such as cold calls, desk research, and online platforms, such as the company's website and LinkedIn. You will ensure a continuous influx of new leads, which are handed over to the respective Sales Manager when there is concrete interest. The goal is to convert prospects into orders.

During your development, you will also conduct market research, identifying market opportunities and contributing ideas on the potential of certain ideas, such as new products and services, based on your conversations and research. You will closely monitor changes and interesting developments in the market. Your insights will be actively shared with our R&D team, so we always stay ahead of the competition and can offer innovative solutions to our customers.

In this role, you will keep all relationships and their status up to date in the CRM system. You will also contribute to product and tool improvements with insights from market data and customer contacts. If necessary, you will be involved in giving customer presentations, both online and offline, and manning the booth at trade shows and events.

The emphasis within this role is on responsible and well-considered growth, rather than driven expansion. You will be part of a dedicated and energetic team consisting of six people in various marketing roles.

If you enjoy making a good first connection with potential customers and find it challenging that you sometimes face rejection, then this is a job for you.

Working week

On an enjoyable working day, you have finally spoken to a customer you have been trying to reach for months. You also hear from your Sales colleagues that a customer, whom you handed over to them a year ago, has signed a contract for a new sorter.

On a less enjoyable working day, you deal with many rejections. You also get few potential customers on the phone.

Firsthand experience

You are tasked with conducting in-depth market research to improve sales and marketing strategies. What do you do?

You start by identifying relevant companies that could be potential customers. You delve into online sources for desk research, carefully analyzing the market, competition, and trends. This is important to get a clear picture of the market segments EuroSort should focus on. You also actively contact companies, gathering insights about their needs and challenges with strategically placed questions. These interactions can not only provide valuable information but also generate new leads. Then, you compile all this data into a convincing report. You present your findings to the Sales and Marketing team, giving them a better understanding of market dynamics. Your insights enable the team to devise smarter sales methods and more precisely tailor marketing activities.

Growth

EuroSort considers personal development very important. There are many opportunities to attend education, training and courses. EuroSort is currently developing a training policy to make this more concrete.

Wiebe de Jong - Manager TECH

Why did you decide to work for this company?
I started as an intern (Engineer) when the company only had a few employees (almost nineteen years ago). The type of company has always given me opportunities to develop and grow in the organization. It has never been boring as the company and product continues to evolve. The company is always open to new ideas.

Why did you decide to work for this company?
With a predilection for technology, I have always been looking for a working environment in which I have to deal with multiple techniques. At EuroSort, various systems come together in the control of the sorting installations. From controlling various sensors, actuators, motors and servo drives, to communication between different systems, such as servers, HMI and cameras.

Marco Vonk - Purchaser

Why did you decide to work for this company?
I started in 2011 as an Engineer at EuroSort. In addition, I did project-related purchases. Due to the dynamic growth of EuroSort, I have gradually started to concentrate and professionalize myself more in the field of purchasing. Partly because the organization feels great, from which we get satisfaction together, this is a huge stimulus to develop myself further and to keep the enthusiasm high. This is an advantage of EuroSort for me!
