What is required?
- Completed MBO education in Logistics or Forwarding and/or work experience in a similar position
- In possession of a forklift certificate and preferably a category B driving licence
- Good knowledge of MS Office Package
- Good at prioritising and acting accordingly
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, other languages are a plus
- Reliable and able to cooperate well
- In possession of own transportation

As an Expedition Employee at EuroSort you are responsible for the organisation of transport from and to customers. You do this by loading and unloading goods with a forklift truck in the warehouse. You also regularly transport goods between the locations in 's-Graveland and Weesp with a company bus.
EuroSort sends goods all over the world and the transport is mainly carried out by external companies. You make sure that (package) shipments are correctly packed and that the necessary documentation is added. This also applies to follow-up shipments to projects. You make loading lists and corresponding registrations, so that you know what is loaded into which vehicle. You document all this in the CRM system.
You are part of the Shipping Department, together with the Head of Expedition, Shipping Officers and other Expedition Employees. You will report to the Senior Shipping Officer.
If you like orderliness, can work accurately and enjoy having contact with drivers from different countries, this is the job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable working day, you have a lot of freedom to plan your day and all goods are loaded on time. This gives me a satisfied feeling.
On a less enjoyable day, many consignments have to be sent off on time. This creates some work pressure, but fortunately this never lasts long.
