Firsthand experience

A guest has put a do not disturb sign on the door all day, but in the evening angrily calls the reception because cleaning has not been done. What do you do?

You will receive the complaint from the guest in question via the reception, where you listen carefully to what exactly the guest's wish is. The guest wants cleaning to be done now, but the room is no longer in the schedule for this evening. You discuss with the guest that you can provide a cleaning box, containing clean towels and bed linen. You also indicate that extra attention will be paid to the room the next day. If the guest does not agree to this, you arrange for a Room Attendant to go to the room after all and ensure that this is processed in the planning.

Growth

Various training courses are offered by the hotel. This can vary from social hygiene and food safetytrainings, to a wine course or a first aid course. Whatever may pique your interest, may just very well be in the books for you.
