What is required?
- Completed higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, or another quantitatively related field, with Econometrics being a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in crypto and blockchain data analysis with a strong emphasis on designing token economies and emerging trends
- Experience in translating research findings into investment recommendations
- Experience with Crypto Twitter and navigating contracts on platforms such as Etherscan and Dune Analytics
- Experience with emerging segments such as AI, Layer 1 & Layer 2 protocols, DeFi, and applications within the RWA (Real World Asset) sector
- Experience with on-chain analysis tools such as Glassnode and DeFiLlama and data extraction
- Experience in financial market research, business analysis, or venture capital is a plus
- Knowledge of the ecosystem, key protocols, and staying up-to-date with the latest market trends
- Knowledge of the investment due diligence process
- Knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas), and REST APIs is a plus
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; Dutch is a plus
- Analytical, data-driven, strategic, and able to identify innovative business opportunities

Vacancy
As a Research Analyst at MN Capital, you will be responsible for optimizing investment choices and strategies within MN Capital, the Venture Capital arm of The EMN Group, active in the crypto sector. With a keen eye for detail and in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto sector, you will conduct thorough research into emerging protocols and technologies. You will generate innovative insights and analyses focused on investment opportunities for MN Capital, collaborating closely with fellow Analysts and the Business Development Manager. You will also be involved in making investments and play a key role in guiding portfolio startups, actively contributing to optimizing return on investment (ROI) for MN Capital.
You will read and evaluate business plans, conduct in-depth research, and write comprehensive reports including financial modeling. Additionally, you will provide risk metrics, monitor news and data within the sector, and contribute to developing close relationships with portfolio startups and key partners. Through your expertise and analyses, you will significantly contribute to MN Capital's success, achieving investment objectives in the crypto sector.
