Vacancy

As a Filling Line Operator at Kompak, you are responsible for executing the production process as efficiently as possible. Additionally, you are responsible for monitoring the quality of the products produced.

Your primary responsibility is to operate, configure, and maintain the machines and production equipment. You ensure that all equipment operates safely and delivers optimal results. This includes performing preventive and predictive maintenance and minor repairs. You are also responsible for monitoring the quality of the produced goods. You identify defects, take corrective action, and ensure that the final product meets quality standards. Furthermore, you meticulously record key aspects of the production process in reports.

While performing your duties, you always adhere to safety guidelines and procedures. For example, by using personal protective equipment and reporting workplace hazards. You also actively participate in process improvements by providing input or learning new techniques and methods. All team members work in a 2- or 3-shift system, and you report to the Production Team Leader.

If you enjoy working with technology and machinery in a team and find it challenging that every day is different, then this is a job for you.

On a good workday, you solve a technical problem and find a clever way to optimize the workflow. The team atmosphere is good, and your workday is highly productive.

On a less pleasant workday, several colleagues are sick, increasing the workload. On top of that, a malfunction causes additional delays in the production process.

Firsthand experience

During a quality control inspection, you notice that the quality of the products produced is substandard. How do you proceed?

The first step is to check the machine settings. You do this using the machine settings list. This step is crucial because small deviations in the settings can significantly impact product quality. If you verify that everything is set correctly, you escalate the issue to the Team Leader.

Together with the Team Leader and the Technical Department (TD), you investigate the problem. You consider several possible causes and perform tests to identify the issue. Ultimately, you identify a malfunction in a machine component. Once the malfunction is resolved, the problem appears to be solved, and product quality returns to its usual level.
