As a QHSE Officer at EuroSort, you are responsible for maintaining and developing standards in quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE). In this role, you ensure the registration and coordination of reported deviations, securing follow-up. This involves implementing and improving policies and procedures to ensure EuroSort continues to meet legal requirements and standards within the machine construction sector. You conduct risk assessments and safety audits aimed at identifying and controlling potential hazards. Additionally, you play an active role in coordinating training and awareness programs, informing staff about safety procedures and environmental regulations.

You also investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and make recommendations to prevent recurrence. You are responsible for managing documentation and registrations related to quality controls, safety efforts, and environmental performance. You are constantly looking for improvements in processes, procedures, and systems to strengthen overall QHSE performance. This is done in close collaboration with various departments, including Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Service.

You are part of the QHSE sub-team, an integral part of the larger Continuous Improvement team within the Organization Support department. In this role, you work closely with the Quality Manager and Process Designer. The Continuous Improvement team further includes a Program Manager, Project Managers, Application Managers, and a BI Developer. This may involve updating safety protocols and training employees on new procedures, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and safety within the organization.

From controlling various sensors, actuators, motors and servo drives, to communication between different systems, such as servers, HMI and cameras.

Why did you decide to work for this company?
I started in 2011 as an Engineer at EuroSort. In addition, I did project-related purchases. Due to the dynamic growth of EuroSort, I have gradually started to concentrate and professionalize myself more in the field of purchasing. Partly because the organization feels great, from which we get satisfaction together, this is a huge stimulus to develop myself further and to keep the enthusiasm high. This is an advantage of EuroSort for me!
