Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.

As an Electrical Engineer at EuroSort, you are responsible for the development of electro-technical diagrams and drawings needed to make a sorting machine which functions properly. You work in projects, in which you closely cooperate with colleagues from other departments, such as Service & Support, Mechanical Engineering, Software and PLC.

You translate the list of requirements and wishes of the customer into a technical overview. You then make the design more detailed by making electrical drawings and diagrams. Since certain parts of machines are standard, you set up data lists so that some parts of your diagrams are generated automatically. In the end, you deliver a complete drawing package with all the electrical drawings, schematics and overviews. This package goes to the PLC department and the installation team accordingly, who ensure everything is actually installed.

You are also responsible for translating the drawing packages into order lists. Based on your drawings, you export these lists from the system and check whether the right materials are on the right receipts.

You are part of the Engineering department, which consists of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, a Lead Electrical Engineer and Project Coordinators. The department is managed by the Head of Electrical Engineering.

If you like working in a technical environment, work closely together with different departments and find it challenging that your work is critically looked at by colleagues, then this is the job for you.

Working week

Electrical Engineer

On an enjoyable working day, you solve a technical issue, which is integrated into the design in all departments.

On a less enjoyable working day, many questions and requests come in from other departments, so you don't manage to do the work you had actually planned.

I started in 2011 as an Engineer at EuroSort. In addition, I did project-related purchases. Due to the dynamic growth of EuroSort, I have gradually started to concentrate and professionalize myself more in the field of purchasing. Partly because the organization feels great, from which we get satisfaction together, this is a huge stimulus to develop myself further and to keep the enthusiasm high. This is an advantage of EuroSort for me!
