Firsthand experience

You want to make students enthusiastic about buying products for the new school year. What do you do?

Through marketing you are informed that in the past a campaign was set up called ‘Cool to School’. You receive textual and visual content from the marketing team and forward this to the performance agency that Action collaborates with. You explain what the intention is and they create a media plan. You send the final plan to the social media agency that Action collaborates with. In this case, Snapchat is a relevant channel as it covers the target group. Accordingly a concept will be developed and the social media agency will create a Snapchat video. The performance agency will take care of running the campaign and analyzing the results. A campaign usually runs two to three weeks. Every Monday, we discuss the results we received from the performance agency with the Digital team. Then we assess where we stand in terms of targets and budgets and make possible adjustments. You can then see that the target group has been set too specifically and make subsequent adjustments. In this case, it is important to consider the target group. Boys usually buy school supplies last-minute. The first campaign can then focus more on girls who want to personalize and ‘pimp’ their diary. The second campaign can focus on teenagers (both boys and girls) and parents.

Growth

The Action Academy offers diverse training modules through which you can further develop yourself. Depending on your ambition you can also have other digital poistions.
