Vacancy
As a Truck Driver at Van der Kleij, you are responsible for delivering clean hospitality linens such as towels, bedding, and table linens, and collecting soiled laundry from customers. We call this "clean for dirty"! You ensure timely arrivals at hotels and restaurants and that everything is delivered neatly and according to agreement. Throughout, you maintain a friendly attitude towards customers and represent the company with professionalism.
You load and unload the truck safely and carefully to keep both clean and soiled laundry undamaged. Before departure, you check the load and the condition of the vehicle, and while driving, you remain aware of other road users to prevent accidents. This way, you ensure both you and your cargo arrive safely at the destination.
You are part of the logistics team, where drivers, logistics staff, and supervisors work closely together. In this open and collegial environment, you can ask questions, share experiences, and together you ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
If you enjoy being on the road, making different trips every day, keeping customers satisfied, and value contact with colleagues, then this is the job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable workday, the weather is nice and you drive calmly from customer to customer. You enjoy being outside, the work flows smoothly without rush, and after delivering the laundry, you can relax with a cup of coffee.
On a less enjoyable workday, you face heavy traffic, causing significant delays. You may also have to wait longer at customers’ locations or deal with bad weather conditions.
