You work on both factory shutdowns with planned and corrective maintenance, as well as factory shutdowns due to acute problems.

Working week

Project Leader A
Jeroen Tang

On an enjoyable day, I have various tasks in my schedule. Then I am at the office and I visit the factory. It is really great when you see real progress taking place in a project.

I have a less enjoyable day if I have lots of meetings and therefore have little time for my daily activities.

Firsthand experience

During a factory shutdown you notice that three pumps have not yet been delivered. How do you deal with this?

You get in touch with the supplier. If possible you go to them personally. You ask them what they expect and what the problem is, what they are waiting for and whether they think they are still going to achieve our project planning targets.

You get together with the supplier and see how you can help to actually achieve the planning target. You draft a plan together and constantly keep in touch with each other. You ask for updates and photo material. You propose a final date for testing the pumps and wherever possible help the supplier to reach the deadline

Growth

You can follow training courses in the field of knowledge development, security and personal growth. In addition, it is always possible to propose a training course, which suits you and is also of added value for Nouryon. In this way, you can grow into the position of Project leader A.
