Vacancy

As an Accounting Officer at TMF Group, you maintain portfolios of clients who mainly purchase accounting and financial statements services. For your clients, you ensure that their Dutch entities comply with local laws and regulations (financial, tax, statutory) and that you deliver the requested reports or information at the agreed times. You do this in cooperation with your team and external parties such as auditors, tax advisers, lawyers, civil-law notaries and other parties involved.

You work for about twenty international clients.

If you enjoy diving into the figures, communicating a lot with the client and are good at setting priorities, then this is the job for you.

Working week

Accounting Officer
Inan Bozdag

On an enjoyable day, I was able to successfully complete a large file together with the team.

A day is less enjoyable when we are not making progress with a file, because the cooperation with the client or the team isn’t running smoothly.

Firsthand experience

The client has supplied incomplete or incorrect documentation. What do you do?

It concerns financial documentation for the purpose of auditing the annual accounts. You first request them again from the client. If they don’t comply, you explain what the consequences are if you do not receive the correct documents. You explain what the rules are in the Netherlands and why you need to obtain these specific documents. This is how you try to persuade them to send you the documents, so you can finish your work correctly.

Growth

Within the TMF Academy, employees have the opportunity to follow both professional and soft-skill courses in a very broad range. And our global footprint makes an international career possible! We are committed to fast-tracking people with potential and create opportunities for advancement within the company.
