Vacancy

As a Public Relations and Public Affairs Manager you manage all interactions of Thank you caretakers with local, regional and national governmental- and healthcare organizations, and the public. You are responsible for building a positive reputation and you help to raise awareness.  This initiative was launched during the coronavirus pandemic with the goal to share one million thank you messages with health caretakers on a global scale.

You will be working together with an ambitious team of ten people. Per country the team consists of three people in the ‘Reach Team’ (Social Marketeer, Growth Hacker and Video Marketeer), three people in the ‘Healthcare Team' (Health Care Expert, Operational Health Care Manager and an Influencer), a PR expert, a Customer Service expert and a Team Lead. You will be able to use the knowledge and expertise of PR and Public Affairs Managers across our network of countries (e.g., Netherlands, Austria and France).

If you see a fast-paced environment as a learning opportunity and want to have a positive impact in the world then this is a job for you. If you care more about earning money and less about making a positive contribution then this role will not suit you.

Working week

Initiator
Jasper Mutsaerts

On a pleasant day you talk to a minister, journalist and hospital director to gather information. In the morning we have an inspiring Guest Speaker. And you are generally making a social impact.

On less pleasant days, you question your efforts to promote worldwide gratitude and can't really find the focus to get stuff done.

Growth

We started this initiative to create a positive movement. Hopefully our initiative will no longer need to exist next year (or sooner!) because society has succeeded in 'flattening the curve'. For as long as we do exist we want to make it possible for you to grow within our organization and as an individual.

Working at Thank you caretakers

The world is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis due to the coronavirus. Health caretakers, who are already risking and sacrificing their lives for the rest of society, are put to the test and are at risk of exhaustion.

The initiative www.thankyoucaretakers.com collects messages of gratitude online and livestreams those messages to health caretakers all over the world. The goal is to bring people together and mentally support our health caretakers and make a positive impact during these difficult times.
