Vacancy

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the growth of Relatics software users at existing (international) clients. It concerns the next generation construction management software in which large complex construction projects manage their project information. As the client first point of contact, you maintain the relationship and know what their wishes and problems are. You customize your help by answering questions they have about for example: deployment on new projects, expansion of the deployment, but also about (new) contracts, bills and users. In addition, you give demos on site or online to explore the possibilities of expanding the use of Relatics software in new projects.

Internally you work together with cross functional teams: the Account Managers are responsible for managing and extending the existing accounts, Sales Managers are responsible for aligning the new large projects at new or existing accounts, while the Service Delivery Manager is responsible for providing solutions and services to projects.

If you enjoy thinking strategically with the client and converting needs and possibilities into solutions, then this is the job for you.

Working week

Account Manager
Quincy Gerards

A day is enjoyable if I have meetings at the client to look at the use of Relatics software in projects. Then we have brainstorming sessions about the deployment.

I have a less enjoyable day if I am mainly busy processing notes from client meetings and going through the client’s general conditions.

Firsthand experience

For a large account, you look at the growth possibilities. How do you proceed?

You continuously try to make sure that Relatics is used to its full potential by looking at where the software could be of added value in all the client’s projects. Firstly, you find out which projects this account already uses Relatics software for, and whether the full potential of the software is already being used on the projects. Then, together with the Sales Manager you see if there are other large projects on the client’s project calendar which would also benefit from Relatics. You also involve the Service Delivery Manager to see what the client needs in terms of support to ensure that by using Relatics their projects are as successful as possible. You summarise all this in an account plan and also provide a forecast, and then go ahead with achieving the defined ambitions.

Growth

At Relatics, there is no set growth path and there is plenty of freedom to develop. You are encouraged to join training courses and there is no maximum training budget. You are allowed time off to spend freely on personal development.
