Vacancy
As a Marketing Manager at Orbisk, you are responsible for the marketing of the Orbisk advanced scale that helps restaurants prevent food waste. You create and manage all this product's content, and make sure it is shared both online and offline. During your marketing activities, you focus on different pillars: branding, socials, advertising and positioning.
You also work on setting up and launching various marketing campaigns. These campaigns will focus on increasing Orbisk’s brand awareness and attracting new customers. For this reason, you target both the customer base and other external parties involved in Orbisk's network.
You manage the Orbisk website and ensure that it contains relevant content. Together with an intern, you produce this content. It is up to you to ensure that all content is written according to the correct brand guidelines, and that SEO and Google Analytics are used optimally.
In creating, managing and sharing the content, you make sure relevant themes around food waste are incorporated. While posting the content on social media, your main focus is on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Currently, you work with the Sales Team, consisting of two employees and a Sales Lead. You are also responsible for supervising the Marketing intern, through daily and weekly meetings. In the near future, you will be working with a marketing colleague.
If you like to multitask and work independently in a proactive manner, and you want to be creative on building campagnes, this is a job for you.
Calendar
On an enjoyable day, you work on strategy alongside external partners and stakeholders.
On a less enjoyable day, you are busy with branding and designing a lot of different things for the fairs, making you feel you are all over the place.

Working at Orbisk
Orbisk is a start-up with a clear mission: to make the global food system more sustainable. The start-up provides complete insights into the food flows of hospitality organisations. Orbisk does this by offering a smart camera and scale that uses image recognition to register which food is thrown away, when and in what quantity. The customer can view this data in the dashboard, which provides insight into food wastage and can be used to reduce it.
