Vacancy

As Digital Architect at Action you ensure that all digital platforms meet the same guidelines and, for example, are integrated in a uniform way into the system landscape.

The email platform and website must for example meet the same requirements so they offer a clear ‘customer journey’ and cooperate seamlessly with one another. You draw up guidelines that you align with the Enterprise Architect who monitors Action’s overall architecture. You are also responsible for the long term planning and oversee the steps required in the short term. You map out this planning on a roadmap. You discuss this with the Digital domain owners in the business and are furthermore a bridge to the Action suppliers and guide the designs realization.

Working week

It is an enjoyable day when you see that all platforms are being used optimally and the implementation of solutions runs according to plan.

A day is less enjoyable if you receive a solution that is not in accordance with the rules and you need to have a policing role.

Firsthand experience

Action wants to engage with more clients related to data. How do you deal with this?

Firstly, you question the Product Owners about what they exactly want to achieve. Subsequently, you investigate the opportunities within the existing platforms and which elements are included in the roadmap. You collaborate closely with the Digital Analysts and request options. If it doesn’t fit into the existing platforms you look for alternatives. Perhaps a completely new platform is needed or an existing platform or service can be expanded. You discuss with the Enterprise Architect if the possibilities align with the rest of the company. Together with the Enterprise Architect and the analysts you develop a plan and a business case. You present this to the direct stakeholders and possibly to a higher level as well. When they have approved it, you can start implementing and supervising.

Growth

The Action Academy offers diverse training modules through which you can further develop yourself. Programs are offered in-house for example in the field of leadership, communication and project management. In addition, external development and/or training possibilities are open for discussion.
